Subject to Application*

For the 2011 Conference, units or credits in like amount will be sought. Approvals will be posted as they occur. As in 2010, upon request of any participant a Certificate will be issued certifying attendance and completion of the Conference courses, including a copy of the Conference program. Attendance will be taken in accordance with State Bar rules.

*California licensed appraisers can file an Equivalency Credit Application ($60 each) for continuing education credits. Per D.R.E, it is required that a 30 question, multiple choice examination be administered at the Conference. I am having the appraisal presenters compose a 30 question exam. If you wish to make an Equivalency Credit Application, the test will be administered immediately after the last presentation. If you desire to take such a test please let us know before the Conference (530-893-2398 or kenroye@sbcglobal.net). Also, I will be happy to refund $60.00 of your tuition to cover your Equivalency Credit Application Fee. There is, of course, no way to guarantee the DRE will approve the credits but I believe they should and will be glad to advocate the appropriateness of the approval. Their website is www.dre.ca.gov. The pre-conference DRE approval process is complicated and expensive and I do not intend to offer identical programs each year, so course approval in not practical. The post conference application is the best alternative. - Ken Roye
